Do good…two ways!

21 Sep

1.  Join us at the Otay Ranch Town Center to serve local families in need.  We have supported LSS’s Project Hand in Chula Vista for years.

Join our Concordia team of walkers HERE or deposit your $25 in the offering on Sunday morning marked “LSS Walk to End Poverty”  We want to gather 20 walkers for the walk to be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 starting at 7:30am.

2.

We have an opportunity to partner with Lutheran Border Concerns as we gather supplies for the needy before the cold weather and rains hit.  They are gathering:

- Cup of Noodles.

- Over the counter Cold and Flu Medicine

- Lice Shampoo

- Rice and beans

- Quilts and blankets for winter.

To contribute to this need see Susan Haase or place items in the blue bucket under the “LORD, you have been our dwelling place” sign.
