LSS Walk to End Poverty

The Concordia Home Team was out helping Chula Vista families that need a hand up!

We participated in the LSS Walk to End Poverty. It was held at the Otay Ranch Town Center and the walkers on this morning raised amost $4,500 that will go to community care.

Thank you Concordia team…..you accomplished something for God and for good today!

We are delighted to be new neighbors in the Windingwalk area of east Chula Vista. We are here not only for God for also for good and so we launched this network to share ways that together we can do good "across the street and around the world." Think of it as a “clearinghouse of kindness.” This isn’t about a church organization, nor is it just for people in church organizations. HERE FOR GOOD is for people who care AND want to do something tangible about it. The needs and challenges of a community can be addressed by the kindness, talents, compassion and resources of a community, so we’re here to create that sort of a community of people.
